MIRA 2026: the complete lineup for Barcelona's fifteenth digital arts festival

The Barcelonans behind MIRA have finished the bill for the fifteenth edition, and it leans harder on live audiovisual work than any year before. The festival runs 6 and 7 November 2026 at Fira Montjuïc. Twenty-six shows are confirmed.

Ryoichi Kurokawa plays the Friday. His sets treat sound, image and time as one material, field recordings folded into digital structures until the whole thing reads as a sculpture that moves. Nobody else in the lineup builds work this way. Christian Fennesz and Lillevan open the same night with a live re-reading of Endless Summer, guitar layers under real-time visuals, an album turned into something you watch.

The Saturday has the louder draw. Nosaj Thing and Daito Manabe bring their collaborative show to the peninsula for the first time. Manabe writes the music and builds the visuals in the same pass, so the audio and the image are not layered on each other afterwards. They were made together. Debit debuts Potpourri with Ian Margo and Alexandre Montserrat from Bianjie Systems on visuals. R-010 and Matteo Caro premiere Makrophonie, staged by PROXIMA.

The club side is not an afterthought. Helena Hauff plays a DJ set of raw electro and techno. Grand River presents Temporary, an electroacoustic show that has not been performed here, with Andrea Familari on lights. Space Afrika, Max Cooper, Machine Girl, Shygirl, Nicola Cruz and Tortoise fill out the rest.

Day passes are 60 euros plus fees, and a full two-day pass is 110. Two-person and four-person packs bring the per-head price down to about 106 and 102 euros. The festival has been running since 2011 and has spent those years programming artists who treat software as an instrument. That habit is visible across the whole bill this year.

MIRA also runs an education arm. It helped set up the Digital Arts degree at La Salle, works with master's programmes at ELISAVA, IED and EINA, and puts more than 120 students on stage alongside the headliners. In the weeks before the festival it runs free workshops across Sant Andreu and Sants-Montjuïc with local groups.
