Riso-windowseat: procedural risograph films in one HTML file

A night train journey seen through one fixed window, with a glass of water on the sill. Every pixel and every sound except the piano is procedural, and the whole film is one index.html file — no libraries, no fonts, no images, no network calls.
That is Window Seat, the release that began riso-windowseat. Seventy-eight seconds of golden departure, fields and a red truss bridge, a night city with a canal, fireworks over a lake, sleeper hours with star trails, dawn from a viaduct with rain streaming back along the glass. The score, "A Light Left in the Window", is an original piano piece in 6/8 whose phrasing follows the picture's timeline. The glass of water leans with every acceleration and is the last thing to settle.
Making it produced a reusable kit, and the rest of the repo was built with that kit. Roost is a starling murmuration in one fixed view, each bird a two-pixel ink dot, so the flock itself becomes the halftone; the string score is timed from the picture. Held is a paper kite whose line frays and parts, falls across a harbour town, catches on a weathervane, and climbs again when a sloop's forestay snags it. Nonpareil is paper marbling seen straight down into the bath, closed-form geometry so every frame is exact, drops landing on the beat of a handpan.
The craft carries over to stills. Cabinet is five plates from an imaginary natural-history cabinet — a sectioned nautilus, arranged diatoms, a luna moth, a cut agate, a sunflower — each drawn from its own growth geometry, exported as native 2160 by 2160 prints.
Everything is risograph through and through: printed colour, screened line, halftone as subject. The repo ships the skills, docs and a render harness so you can make films in the same hand. https://github.com/sevenevesai/riso-windowseat
